About Us
Jim Bach has spent several years working in Central America. He holds a master's degree in International Education from the George Washington University and a BA in International Affairs. He has focused on International Development in Latin America and disaster relief work in the US and in Guatemala. Following his work in the municipality of Santa Catarina Ixtahuacan he managed the Crisis Corps program for Peace Corps Guatemala. He currently works for Ashoka in Washington D.C.
Karen Rasmussen has worked in international development in Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica and Mexico. She holds a master's degree in Women's Studies with a concentration in International Development from the George Washington University in Washington, DC. She also is a professional graphic designer and holds a Ph.D. in Classical Archaeology. She currently is working as a development consultant in Mexico.
